Be in public spaces again

How does it feel to be in public places (again)? Whereas the pandemic is slowly being brought under control in some countries, some initiatives are starting to be designed for this return of the citizen to the public space.

In The New York Times, Gia Kourlas comments on a recent initiative organized by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the River To River Festival, whose proposal was that people return to occupy certain spaces in Manhattan, but now at a slow pace, to see and hear everything that sorrounds residents, to observe the body’s relationship with space.

In addition to this initiative, the author comments on other proposals that have recently taken place in New York and that seek to rescue this connection between the human body and the city.
