Pimp my carroça

“Pimp my carroça is a movement that strives to take collectors of recyclable materials from invisibility, to promote their self-esteem and to sensitize society to this cause, with creative actions that use graffiti to raise awareness, to engage and transform”. This text presents the project that was created in São Paulo in 2012 by the activist Mundano. Guest artists sign the graffitis made on the carts, which in addition to being visually transformed are equipped with mirrors and reflective strip. The group carried out actions in 42 of 12 countries. They currently offer health care, food, and work equipment services. | More information
