M.U.S.A.S. – Museu de Street Art de Salvador [Salvador’s Street Art Museum]

Summary: “Our collective uses graffiti as a tool to transform communities. Through impactful paintings, we seek to create a better world and inspire reflection. We revitalize abandoned spaces, bringing color and life to urban areas. We believe in the power of graffiti to promote positive change and strengthen the sense of belonging in communities. Our mission is to inspire, empower and bring hope through artistic expression.

Our intention is to create creative hubs. To achieve this, we use houses in communities as large canvases, and MUSAS has already been working as a point of culture in many different places and communities.

Since the collective’s first intervention with painting, we’ve been able to reveal that these actions are capable of attracting specialized tourism and showing the creative potential of these places, that it is possible to propose art and culture with what they have access to, motivated by our belief that art can improve, rescue and bear good fruit.”
