Guelra

Arte Total, created and directed by Cristina Mendanha, collaborator of the Passeio project, is a structure specialized in artistic creation, production and training.

Guelra is one of Arte Total’s projects. This is a “laboratory for transdisciplinary choreographic creation of artistic interaction, interactivity and interconnection that has as its poetry of creation, transfiguration and experimentation, the multiplicity and the intangibility of experience and memory of the city.

Using ethnographic street observation methodologies, between other ones, this project seeks to reflect on city space, community, body and dance as a memory.
