CriCity: Children and Public Space

The book Studies on children and urban public spaces from the CriCity project: recommendations was recently released. This is a project of SOCIUS – Research Center for Economic and Organizational Sociology, at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG), of the University of Lisbon, in collaboration with the Institute of Sociology at the University of Porto, coordinated by Eunice Castro Seixas, Paulo Castro Seixas, João Teixeira Lopes and Lígia Ferro. According to the information provided on the CriCity website, the publication is described as “free access and easy to read,” and is intended, above all, to promote “greater awareness of children’s relationship with different public spaces, as well as greater participation of children in urban planning processes.”
