Sinopsis: “Another book by Rui Ferreira about the city of Braga, this time comprising a wide-ranging selection of articles on Braga’s urban spaces, published in his bi-weekly “Trilhos Bragueses” [Braga’s Trails] section of the Diário do Minho newspaper, in which he sets out to explore Braga’s most emblematic arteries. From the narrow and gloomy medieval streets, to the new Braga inaugurated at the beginning of the 16th century, with its squares and streets underlining the medieval walls, through the urban revolution implemented by Archbishop D. Diogo Sousa. Diogo de Sousa, continuing on through the squares left by the Baroque period or the structuring axes of contemporaneity, with their long streets and wide avenues.”
