Andrade, P. (eds.) (2016).Public Communication of Art. The case of local and global Art Museums
Public art communication involves the production, diffusion, consumption and understanding of art in public contexts. It assumes that art is a social and communicative process, aiming to circumscribe it in two main directions of research:
A reflection and diagnosis about Public Communication of Art in art museums, physical and virtual. A more practical and pedagogical part that aims to apply an informal learning system for the arts to be used in museums, with hypermedia modules presenting new interfaces, namely a multi-touch table that was experienced by the audience of the anthological exhibition by the artist Joana Vasconcelos , at the Berardo Museum, in 2010.
