Vicente Coda
José Vicente dos Santos, also known as Vicente Coda, has a Master’s degree in Communication, Arts and Culture and a PhD in Communication Sciences, both from the University of Minho. He has a degree in pedagogy with a qualification in School Administration and a postgraduate degree in Art Education from the São Luís de França College, Aracaju-SE/BR. In 2010, he also taught initiation to contemporary art at this college. He created and taught the Contemporary Art Extension course at UNIT – Tiradentes University – Aracaju-SE/BR, in 2010. Additional courses: GOETHE INSTITUTE – Musical Theater. MAM – Museum of Modern Art of Bahia – Painting I and II, Drawing II (painting with experimental work). SSA-BA/BR.
In 2017, José Vicente created, curated and produced the Café Cultural Residências Artísticas (Urban Art) project in Fafe – Portugal. He is currently dedicated to research and work in the field of urban culture (Hip-Hop, graffiti, fashion), communication and cultural production. He is also a founding member, vocalist, guitarist and composer of the rock band Vicente Coda & A Paraphernália.
