Martin Dale

Martin Dale is a PhD student in Sciences of Communication at the University of Minho, with a bachelor and masters degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and fellow Thouron in the Master of Communication at the Annenberg School of Communications, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Teaches in the areas of cinema and audiovisual. Producer and director of documentaries and promotional films. He has worked as a consultant for the BBC, ICA, RTP, Tobis and Ministry of Culture. Expert and evaluator for the European Commission under Horizon2020. He has published two books on the film industry “Europa, Europa” (1992) and “The Movie Game” (1997). Journalist for the American film magazine, Variety. Professional translator of academic, legal, cultural and contemporary art texts.
