Francisco Mesquita

Francisco Mesquita is a professor of Advertising and Design at Fernando Pessoa University. He is Postdoctoral at the School of Communications and Art of the University of São Paulo, Brazil and PhD at the University of Minho. He does research on outdoor advertising, poster and sustainable fashion. For several years he was assistant coordinator of the SOPCOM Advertising Working Group. He is a graphic designer, editor of Adverte and he regularly participates in fine art exhibitions, using “smart” and sustainable pigments in his work. He believes in art as a sensitizing agent of human transformation.
