Cláudia Henriques

Cláudia Henriques has a PhD in Communication Studies: Technology, Culture, and Society from the University of Minho. She is a researcher at the Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade (CECS) at the same university. She has a master’s degree in Journalism (NOVA FCSH), during which she was an intern at Rádio Renascença. His undergraduate degree is in History (NOVA FCSH), followed by a post-graduate degree in Documentary Science from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. Not being a perfect quadrilateral, the circumstances of her academic path led her, almost without noticing, to four distinct areas of interest: Journalism, Radio, History and Archives. She has published and developed research work in the fields of media history and radio studies, namely on the history of radio, the epistemology of sound, and the problem of sound archives.
