Notebook II – Social Movements

“Every political social movement is independent of the forces applied in suffrage”.

There are six polling stations. Each one has 3 to 4 people waiting to receive their ballot. In other words, inside the premises adapted to host the vote, there will be around 20 people to vote for. Here outside, in the open air, you can count about 50. They voted and stood there, observing and socializing. There’s some small talk, a few reunions, a few combinations, some venting about the state of the country, and sometimes a few confessions about political intentions. There are also some gentlemen doing polls, tablets in hand. But in reality, anyone who stayed outside all day could tell from the content of the conversations who was going to win the elections. But in the end, they didn’t. In the evening, at dinner time, the results are announced. Nothing to do with what the people were saying. But, not always, the movement that the force of words appears to be corresponds to the movement of the pen, if isolated from other eyes and ears.
