MOVEMENT 04

All forces are dependent and variable according to a regular and regulating movement (Dogma of Clockwise Mechanical Motion)

 

From the top of the tower, tirelessly, it never stops. It never rests. At a stupidly monotonous pace, its whole life is unfolded by the constant movement that makes it move. Only every few months, or sometimes more, and a whole year goes by, does someone have to give it a little push, to get it right. But that’s all. For the rest, it doesn’t matter whether it’s day, night, rain, wind, solar eclipse, school strike day, national mourning or popular saints. It doesn’t stop, always with the same rhythm, that absolutely rigid rhythm. In fact, it laughs, because downstairs, people are constantly changing the rhythm every time they look at it. That’s how important it is. It’s because they look at it that the flows and rhythms down there are coordinated. It’s as if it is the one who rules and bosses everyone around. And it feels so important. But he doesn’t let it get to its clock hands. It can’t lose the rhythm.
