Itinerant cinema holds free screenings in decentralized spaces in São Paulo
The CineSolar initiative, Brazil’s first solar-powered itinerant cinema, is launching the exhibition “CineSolar Territories: Diversity, Camera… ACTION!”, offering free outdoor screenings in different decentralized spaces throughout São Paulo, such as squares, villages, occupations and community centers. Aimed at valuing and including peripheral voices, the project screens short films of up to 20 minutes produced by filmmakers from the peripheries, traditional communities and indigenous peoples, promoting a meeting between art and energy sustainability.
The exhibition runs from June 15 to 27. For more information, visit the Alma Preta Jornalismo and CineSolar webpages.
