Bordalo II “touches a raw nerve” with Gaza-themed exhibition in Paris

Portuguese artist Bordalo II inaugurated the exhibition-manifesto IRREVERSIBLE last Saturday, May 24, 2025, which will be on display at the Mathgoth gallery in Paris until June 28. Known for his works made from recycled materials, Bordalo II uses his art to draw attention to social and political issues, highlighting the suffering and destruction faced by the Palestinian population, in what he considers to be the first time he has brought together artpieces that transform his political ideas into artistic objects designed for small spaces. The exhibition aims to provoke reflection and raise international awareness about the humanitarian crisis in the region.
