Avenidas da Memória

Starting from two avenues (Roma and Igreja) in Lisbon’s Bairro de Alvalade, eight neighbors gathered 161 images, which are now on display at Livraria Barata and at the Biblioteca dos Coruchéus. The news, published in Mensagem de Lisboa, says that the initiative was supported by Movimento de Expressão Fotográfica. The images record emblematic establishments of the neighborhood, such as pastry stores, restaurants, tobacconists, stationery stores, and clothing stores.
