Walk&Talk | Dialogues between the territory, communities and the arts

Walk&Talk is the name of the Azores Arts Festival, which takes place every July on the island of São Miguel. The experimental and participatory festival motivates the creation of new objects in dialogue with the territory and works to involve local and migrant communities around the generated knowledge in the expanded field of art that intersects visual arts, performance, music, architecture, and design.

In this year’s edition, the works were related to the Portuguese island and sought to generate reflections on the place, but also beyond it. Installations, performances, art in public spaces… A variety of initiatives were gathered, aiming to broaden the understanding of the articulation between the territory and the most diverse communities.
