Trajetos Comunicantes [Connecting Commutes]

Until February 17, there is a call for works for the artistic project Trajetos Comunicantes [Connecting Commutes], which is part of the artistic program of Portuguese Capital of Culture Braga25.

With the Audire research group (CECS, University of Minho) and the TUB – Empresa de Transportes Urbanos de Braga [Braga Urban Transport Company] as its main partners, this project focuses on the use of sound as a way of expressing and understanding the world. The objects of this work are issues related to mobility, territory, heritage, landscape, public space and community.

Between March and September 2025, sound works will be presented inside the network’s buses and will also be made available online. In addition to the sound content, another goal is to also create a publication of written essays on the project’s theme and the sound content itself.
