Távora travel sketch

Lugar do Desenho (in Gondomar) is joining in the celebrations of Fernando Távora’s centenary by organizing an exhibition dedicated to the architect’s travel drawings. The exhibition consists of drawings and images from the architect’s collection, deposited at FIMS – Instituto Marques da Silva. Fernando Távora was an important figure in the professional practice of architecture in Portugal, as well as in teaching, being one of the creators of the Porto School, to which he attributed central importance to the subject of Drawing.
