Habitation Policies in Lisbon: from Monarchy to Democracy

How do habitation policies shape cities? The exhibition Habitation Policies in Lisbon: from Monarchy to Democracy allows a journey through these interventions and the marks they left in the urban space. Organized by the Arquivo Municipal de Lisboa and the CICS.NOVA – FCSH, the exhibition “presents the urban results of housing policies in the city, highlighting the practical and conceptual differences of the various policies enacted over the last two hundred years, particularly with regard to architectural options, morphology, urban design, recipients and location”.  The exhibition is on show at Palácio Pimenta in Lisbon.
