Children and public space

Kidical Mass, a demonstration by children, young people and families, will take place in Braga on September 23rd with a meeting point at 4pm in Praça da República. Kidical Mass (Critical Mass of Children) is a global movement to encourage children and adults to use bicycles for their daily journeys, demanding the improvement of cycling infrastructure and the pacification of streets, especially around schools. The motto of this kidicalmass is “Space for the next generation”. In Portugal, the international Kidical Mass event has already taken place in May and October 2022, May 2023 and is now taking place again in September in various locations in Portugal, some of them with the support of their Town Halls.
