Cinema Cycle «Revolução Já» [Revolution Now]: «Zabriskie Point»

On September 19, at 9:30 p.m., there will be a screening of Michelangelo Antonioni’s “Zabriskie Point” at the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, with a presentation by Passeio’s coordinator Helena Pires.

The screening is part of the “Revolução Já” [Revolution Now] cinema cycle, organized by Edmundo Cordeiro, who is also a member of Passeio.

According to Edmundo, the film presents a “profound reflection on America, or perhaps better, the profound impregnation of America in Antonioni at the end of the 1960s – an impregnation that is the basis of the artist’s work”. For more information about the screening, click here.
