Culture in Quarantine: theaters create online programmes in response to the coronavirus

Artists like Adura Onashile, Alan Cumming, Brian Cox and Cora Bissett will star in digital works of art, created in response to the social isolation needed to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Covid-19. Among the first theaters to commission major programs are the National Theater of Scotland (NTS) and Home in Manchester. Culture in Quarantine projects aims to promote art and joy through digital connectivity, thus maintaining public unity in the midst of collective isolation.
