Lisbon street art

The city, the people and the pandemic context are represented in the mural created by the British artist D*Face, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.

Six human figures, different from each other, were portrayed in a close-up plane by the street artist. According to D*Face, in an interview, “the way to know what a person is feeling, in large part, is through their eyes”. The urban artist also revealed his interest in portraying the diversity of people in that space of the city.

The artwork made is the first at the Lisbon Urban Art Festival. The event will take place between May 22 and 31, 2021, at Parque das Nações. This is an initiative of the Urban Art Gallery, of the Lisbon City Council. The objective is to carry out a renovation of this urban space that intends to be registered as a future cultural heritage.
